Amy is the owner of Doggie Divine as well as one of the stylists. Amy attended Academy of the Dog Grooming Arts in Arlington heights and received her certificate of pet grooming in 2000.

Loving and caring for animals at an early age, Amy has always had a pet in her life. Whether it’s dogs, cats, parrots, rabbits, gerbils or reptiles, Amy has never been without a pet. Sometimes known as the “pug girl”, because Amy usually has a pug in hand.

After spending some time in Paris, Amy enjoyed that dogs were allowed just about everywhere and treated as members of the family, so the dream of Doggie Divine began. “I wanted to open a grooming salon where clients could feel comfortable leaving their beloved pets. A salon that was clean, safe not overheated or stuffy and offered customized cuts for each individual pet. A salon where stylists would communicate with their clients and offer extensive knowledge on styles, options and possible health issues.”

Amy feels that every pet is an individual and each needs to be groomed according to their needs.She and her entire staff practice a holistic grooming approach with all pets She strives to keep a clean, temperature controlled, stress-free environment with safety being her main priority. Doggie Divine earned it’s Salon Sanitization certification in 2019 and soon will receive AKC S.A.F.E salon certification.

Amy is certified in animal CPR , a member of the National Dog Groomers Association, AKC S.A.F.E. groomer certified, AKC stress free groomer certified, Coat and skin science certified, Certified Canine Esthitician, member of American Professional Pet Groomers Association and a member of Association of Holistic Pet Professionals.

Amy currently lives with her 4 pugs Zelma, Linus, Lu, Rambo and her 13 chickens. Amy also offers pet sitting in her home for clients.



Dina has always loved animals especially dogs. Growing up she wanted to become a vet but came to find out she was too squeamish. After many career choices she went to Its’s a Dog’s World school of grooming in Phoenix , AZ and was certified in 2006.

She currently lives in Genoa and has 2 dogs. Angel who is 9 and Hank who is s 4 month old ball of energy. Dina has been with Doggie Divine since 2010. Dina is a member of IPPGA – Illinois Professional Pet Groomer Association.



Adriana graduated from Midwest School of grooming in 2017 and has been with Doggie Divine for 2 years. She has always loved animals and has lived with them her whole life. “ I treat the dogs that I work with as if they were my own. My favorite part about being a dog groomer is getting smothered in kisses and getting to know each dog personally”.  In her free time Adriana enjoys exercising not just her body but also her mind reading. Adriana is AKC stress free certified and AKC S.A.F.E groomer certified. Adriana is a member of IPPGA – Illinois Professional Pet Groomer Association.



After graduating from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2009, she began following her true passion, animals – dogs to be specific. She starts as a bather at a local salon where she learned the basics of grooming prior to attending Midwest School of Pet Grooming in Barrington where she received her certification of pet grooming in 2011.

Shauna has been working in a local salon since graduating and is very excited to join the Doggie Divine team. She has been sought out by owners for her skill to rehab dogs that have had negative grooming experiences in their past. She takes great pride in her ability to create a trusting and positive relationship with her clients as well as their owners

Shauna has been raised with animals of all kinds through out her life ranging from dogs and cats to a parrot and turtles. She has had a Wheaton Terrier in her home for then past 24 years and is currently on her third named Bruno. Terriers , in particular, have always held a special place in her heart. Shauna owns five dogs, including Bruno, Baron the Bichon, Bailey the maltipoo, Tillie the goldendoodle, Apollo an Italian Spinone and finally Otis the cat.  Shauna has been with Doggie Divine since 2019. Shauna is a member of IPPGA – Illinois Professional Pet Groomer Association.



Jessicca has always wanted to work with animals, even in elementary school she talked of becoming a vet. After pursuing a vet tech career and receiving certification she discovered that it wasn’t quite for her. She looked into dog grooming as a way to still work with animals and show off her artistic side that wasn’t just sketching and painting, She apprenticed under several senior groomers to develop her skills and was certified in 2013.

She currently resides with her Doberman Dalton and her 17 year old Sphynx cat Monty. Jessicca has been with Doggie Divine since 2017.



Reception Manager/ Groomers Assistant

Stephanie has been with Doggie Divine since it’s inception in 2002. Acting as receptionist, bather and handling the then retail end of the business. Currently Stephanie is responsible for reception as well as back office and assists groomers and bathers as needed. Stephanie enjoys her contact with all of the clients, both two legged and four legged and has become attached to several furry clients. Stephanie is overjoyed when she sees their name in the appointment book. Stephanie has had many pets over the years both cats and dogs and attributes Amy’s love of animals to having grown up with primarily , Golden Retreivers among others and yes, Stephanie is Amy’s mom. Stephanie says “I consider working with my daughter in her business all of these years a privilege and am amazed each day at her awesome abilities to do what she does with such skill and love of all of her clients.


Reception / Groomers Assistant / Social Media

Christina is one of our friendly receptionists that greets you when you walk in the door and schedules your appointments. Growing up Christina has always been around dogs and is a big animal lover. She currently has 2 dogs and 2 cats and recently rehabbed a baby chipmunk in her home. Being around animals is something she has always enjoyed. Years ago while she was doing Amy’s hair ( she is also a hair stylist) Amy had brought up that she thought Christina might be good at dog grooming…so Christina came in a realized it was much more difficult and quite different then cutting and styling humans and dog grooming wasn’t for her but she loved the environment so much and loved being around all the dogs that she was hired as a receptionist and has been with us for 14 years. Christina also assists the groomers and bathers and frequently sings songs to anxious dogs. She also does most of the work on our Facebook page.



Bather/Grooming Assistant

Olivia enjoys making sure every pet is relaxed and stress free by gently massaging and sweet talking our furry clients and loves giving blueberry facials. Olivia currently lives with her minpin x Peroni, silkypoo Juliette and cats Rocky and Scarlett . Olivia loves that she gets to learn about different dog’s personalities and getting to love on all the dogs. Olivia has been bathing for 2 years.


Bather/Grooming Assistant

Darcy enjoys meeting all the furry clients and getting tons of kisses. Darcy is a very gentle soul and loves to massage and relax every pet she bathes. Darcy currently lives with her Rottweiler Loki, Chihuahua mix Thor, Chihuahua Valerie and bearded dragon Marilyn Manson.
